8:53PM - Thursday January 22, 2004 So I got all my glazing done on Monday, and had my final crit on Tuesday. It went very well, and Joan is goign to give me a great mark because she really thought I did some good work. She thinks I could make it as a potter because I have a good eye for design and a sure hand, and a cheerful easy-goign temperment. Heh. This speak the people who have never seen me on a PMS-induced rampage. Also I can work in different ways, from really traditional, to kind of scultural and weird. I made a couple of very strange teapots, and my last series of bowls for my final project had all these great extruded tentacles/spines all over them, like giant sea urchins. Now I can't wait for it all to be glaze-fired do I can see how they turn out. I've been doing a lot of sewing, which is good and bad because I haven't been doing the sewing I was supposed to do, I've been doing fun sewing for me. I altered some jeans that didnt fit by putting old ugly 50's ties down the side seams--they are goign to look so cool when I'm done. I also fixed up a skirt I made years ago out of a pair of jeans with some ties inserted like godets. I love ties. I have an ugly tie collection which is rapidly dwindling as I turn them into clothes. I stayed up really late last night with a couple of my Dark Moon cronies, Coyote and Kitty, drinking wine, smoking pot, and cursing Kitty's latest ex. I've decided that Coyote can be Queen, too. We crack ourselves up way too much. I love my women-friends much more than I ever thought I could. I can remember a time when I had no women-friends at all. They can be dumb somtimes and make me want to shake some sense into them, but mostly they're just some rockin' gals who I can cry and laugh with. And as for the CuteSnarkyBoy, he shall from henceforth be called Kryptonite, because he is my weakness. He has superior eyelashes and gives good orgasms. Life is back on track at el Casa del Wench. Right on.
