My Weekend--The Clean Version
Have I ever mentioned that I really hate Daylight Savings Time? Well, I do. It messes with my internal clock something fierce, and also meant that this weekend I lost an entire hour of precious boy-time, a scarce commodity around here as it is. Bleah.

And that exam on Friday? Was an ass-kicker. I was totally drained afterwards, and didn't actually complete my essay question. There was so much information to cram into it that I just plain ran out of time, and that's the first time that's ever happened to me. usually I'm very good at managing my time for exams.

Anyway, the Burlesque show, Bottoms Up! was awesome! Laura totally rocked the legion with her blacklit glow-in-the-dark number to the Divinyls 'I Touch Myself.' I think it was Kryptonite's favourite, too--he had this strange gleam in his eye and muttered how the bedroom would never be the same again. I teased him and asked if I need to buy a blacklight as mood lighting for my bedroom now, and he said, "Oh no, but anyone else would have to at this point." Heh. My other favourites were the Milkshake Girls, and Lydia Leech who did a lovely striptease to 'Hava Nagila.' No really. It was awesome! There were so many great acts that I can't talk about them all. I told Butch about the trampoline act, though, and her eyes completely glazed over.

I think I need to be a burlesque performer now. Oh yes. Kryptonite seems to think my life is exciting enough, especially since Sunday afternoon after he left I was going to pose nude for a classmate's photo project. Heh.

I got to see my friend the Mountain at the burlesque show, along with his lovely woman and their friends. He's passing through on his way back to Newfoundland. I missed him. He picked me up with one arm and planted a kiss on me. I of course, squealed like a little girl. Hee! Now that he's back in Newfoundland, hopefully I'll get to see him more. Maybe he'll be at the pagan gathering this summer!
