11:46AM - Sunday June 13, 2003 1. Want of symmetry, or proportion between the parts of a thing, esp. want of bilateral symmetry. 2. (Math.) Incommensurability. [Obs.] --Barrow. Nature is asymmetrical, and I love it that way. I love that lack of perfection, like the Japanese potters who purposely throw tea bowls off-center--it's a wonderful aesthetic. My body is asymmetrical, and I love it that way. One boob is bigger than the other, my right arm has a way biger bicep muscle, my eyes are a little crooked... I think it all combines into the gorgeous and terrifying package that is me. I enhance my asymmetry. I know some people who when they get body modifications do the same thing on each side so that they have this imagined balance. I have eight piercings in my left ear, but only six in my right. Two piercings in my left nostirl, and one in my right. I had only one nipple pierced. I have one outer labia ring, and my inner labia are pierced five time, not six. This is my aesthetic, and I think it is beautiful. This entry has been brought to you by the letter 'A' and Alphabytes.
